| Free Lunches!!! Every year, the BCM serves a free lunch everyday for the first week of the school year! These meals are prepared by some wonderful people at some awesome local churches. Come hang out with us and the local churches, play boggy, surf the web, meet people, learn about the local churches to find a good church home and did we mention EAT FOR FREE!!! The meals will start @ 11:30 am everyday from 8/22 - 8/26 and will go on til we run out of food. Below is a list of the local churches that will be here and what days. Monday... | Welcome Week Events Check Out all the stuff we got going on to welcome everyone back!!! Wednesday, August 17 at 8pm: Ice Cream Social We will be having an ice cream social at the BCM! Get ready for lots of ice cream and plenty of toppings! After eating we will play some Glo Volleyball in the main room! Wear white!! Thursday, August 18 at 7pm: Gatoropoly We will be playing a human version of Monopoly around campus! Including buying properties, chance, community chest, and passing Go! Be sure to wear comfy shoes! Friday, August 19 at 5:45pm: First Year Progressive Dinner We will be driving to four different churches for a delicious FREE dinner! It is a great way to get to know the area churches for new students! Be sure to be at the BCM at 5:45pm to catch a ride! Saturday, August 20 at 7pm: 3rd Annual Gainesville Gladiators Dividing into teams, we will have Gladiator events/relays for teams to face off against the Gladiators of the BCM! It is sure to be an epic night! Wear comfy clothes and shoes! Sunday, August 21 at 8pm: Xtreme Manhunt A manhunt around campus with a twist! This is a great way to get to know campus the day before classes start and make new friends, while finding some our Exec team! Monday, August 22 at 7pm-9pm: Bowling at Reitz Union We will be meeting at Reitz Union for some FREE bowling to relax after the first day of classes! Be sure to wear socks! Tuesday, August 23 at 7pm: Church Fair and Gator The last event is the Church Fair to get to know local churches and meet new people. Gator is our worship service that will start at 8pm.
